Kilo Code at a glance (Oct 16, 2026)
- Kilo Code is free and open source for individuals. You pay only for AI inference.
- Inference options: free models, local models, your own API keys, pay-as-you-go through Kilo Gateway at exact provider rates, or a Kilo Pass subscription.
- Kilo Pass Starter $19, Pro $49 and Expert $199 a month add up to 50% bonus credits (up to $26.60, $68.60 and $278.60 a month in credits), growing with a longer subscription streak.
- Teams costs $15 per user per month for the platform. Inference is billed separately.
- Credit purchases carry a 5% processing fee.
- There are no 5-hour or weekly windows. Usage is pay-as-you-go.
