- GitHub Copilot Pro costs $10 a month, Pro+ $39 and Max $100.
- Chat, agent mode, code review, the cloud agent and Copilot CLI consume GitHub AI Credits (1 credit = $0.01). Code completions and next-edit suggestions are unlimited on paid plans.
- Pro includes $15 of AI Credits a month ($10 base + $5 flex). Pro+ includes $70 ($39 base + $31 flex). Max includes $200 ($100 base).
- The included allowance resets every month.
- Past the allowance, set a dollar budget and keep going at $0.01 a credit.
- Copilot Free includes limited chat and agent usage. GitHub's FAQ says 2,000 completions and 50 chat requests.

Copilot replaces premium requests with token-metered AI Credits
Every plan now includes a monthly allowance of GitHub AI Credits (1 credit = $0.01), drawn down by tokens at API rates. Code review workflows also consume Actions minutes from June 1.
